Job summary

Norstella is seeking a Director of Analytics & Insights (Clinical RWD/RWE Solutions) to lead the RWD strategy and oversee a small team within Content Strategy. The role will drive AI-ready, defensible real-world data solutions across therapeutic areas, collaborating with Product, Data Science and Technology to deliver clinically sound insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' hands-on experience in RWD study design and statistical ownership with sources like claims, lab, EMR/EHR, registries, ICD10/NDC
• Strong clinical expertise to interpret data and define cohort definitions and endpoints
• Hands-on proficiency with SQL/Python and R and/or SAS to review analyses and outputs
• Experience understanding biopharma stakeholders' needs and translating them into scalable product capabilities
• MD or equivalent medical qualification is highly desirable; other life sciences degrees considered with clinical reasoning
• 10+ years in biopharma intelligence, business research or life sciences consulting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy for RWD/RWE and translate clinical knowledge into buildable specifications
• Own cross-functional relationships with Product, Services, Technology and Data Science
• Ensure RWD outputs are clinically sound and defensible across therapeutic areas
• Define cohort definitions, endpoints and study designs with governance and versioning
• Direct and mentor a small team of RWD specialists and ensure timely delivery of data and insights
• Communicate progress, risks and value to executive leadership
