Job summary

Norstella is seeking a RWD Analytic Consultant to support the delivery of RWD engagements across the life sciences industry in the United States. The role requires combining business acumen with analytical and technical skills to deliver insights from real-world data.

You will work with cross-functional teams including clinicians, data scientists, and healthcare professionals to create actionable analytics, leveraging claims, lab data, EMR, and other sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Epidemiology, Mathematics, Public Health, Computer Science).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with RWD (claims, lab, EMR/EHR, etc.).
• Understanding of life sciences industry and US healthcare ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze healthcare data sources including claims, lab results, EMR, and other RWD.
• Enhance understanding of healthcare trends through data analysis.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals to define analytical requirements and deliver insights.
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data into structured formats ensuring data quality.
• Develop data documentation including data dictionaries, mappings, and lineage.
• Translate analytic outputs into consultative business insights.
