Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from AHIMA accredited HIM program or related field.
• 10+ years ICD-10-CM coding with guidelines experience.
• 7+ years in a management/supervisory coding role.
• Experience standardizing processes across facilities and settings.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve issues impacting outcomes.
• Experience with process improvement and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead professional coding operations across the health system.
• Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely coding of professional services.
• Develop and implement coding strategies, standards, and best practices.
• Drive performance, quality, productivity, and compliance outcomes.
• Partner with clinical, operational, compliance, and revenue cycle leaders to improve processes and results.
