Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a senior leader to guide a team of SMEs across multiple areas of the paper-making process at North American packaging and cellulose facilities. This home-based role requires regular domestic travel and may not require relocation unless living in remote locations with travel challenges.

The role is part of the Manufacturing Advancement Group, leading the Paper Center of Excellence Team, driving PBM-based improvements and cross-site collaboration to optimize performance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing roles supporting paper making operations.
• Experience effectively leading and mentoring teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to travel up to 60% (including weekends/holidays).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SMEs across multiple areas of the paper-making process.
• Support PBM-based management philosophy and drive improvements across sites.
• Build relationships with site personnel and provide leadership feedback.
• Conduct process assessments and help sites close gaps.
• Support site strategy development including economics and issue resolution.
• Drive cross-site collaboration to leverage data analytics and remote process engineering.
