Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Senior Process Control Engineer within the corporate Process Control Center of Excellence. A successful candidate will apply engineering expertise to improve control assets and develop new strategies to enhance overall process performance in fiberline areas across mills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Paper Science Engineering.
• 5+ years' experience with DCS-based systems including troubleshooting and design.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% and work across multiple mills.

Responsibilities

• Assist mills in keeping control systems safe, reliable, and efficient.
• Troubleshoot and support daily manufacturing operations.
• Guide selection and implementation of process control technologies and strategies.
• Collaborate with operations and control teams to optimize assets and performance.
• Design, program, and modify control strategies; support capital projects.
