EDB, based in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a senior security leader to run Security Operations and Security Engineering. You will report to the CISO and own threat detection, incident response, and the engineering that makes them scalable across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will partner with Governance, IT, and Product to embed preventive controls, lead an insider threat program, and drive automation to extend analyst capacity in a remote-first, fast-growing company.

Competenze

• 5+ years of management experience leading security teams.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, detection, or security engineering.
• Proven track record of scaling a security function through rapid growth.
• Strategic thinking with ability to translate technical risk into business impact.
• Comfort in a global, remote-first environment with flexible schedules and on-call responsibilities.

• Lead Security Operations and Security Engineering end-to-end, reporting to the CISO.
• Own threat detection, incident response, and automation to scale controls.
• Partner with Governance, Risk & Compliance, and Application Security to shape security posture.
• Collaborate with IT and Product to embed preventive controls across platforms and pipelines.
• Drive insider threat program development with HR, Legal, and IT.
