Placements24 seeks a Director of Real Estate Development to lead the national real estate development pipeline in a fully remote executive capacity. You will drive from concept through completion, securing financing, managing diverse teams, and delivering high-impact projects with a strong emphasis on market analysis and zoning considerations.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 10+ years in development, with proven remote leadership and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in real estate development with large-scale projects.
Expertise in development strategy, financial modeling, market analysis, and project management.
Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee the entire lifecycle of real estate development projects and align with company goals.
Identify and pursue new development opportunities with market research, feasibility studies, and financial analysis.
Lead negotiations for land acquisition, joint ventures, and partnerships.
Secure project financing through relationships with lenders, investors, and capital partners.
Manage project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and legal counsel; ensure collaboration and accountability.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
Navigate entitlement and permitting processes with municipal authorities.
Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Stay informed on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders including community leaders and investors.
