Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Director of Business Development for USSOCOM to shape long-term opportunities and drive multi-year pursuits. You will build deep relationships with end-users, primes, OEMs, and PM offices to position MN-MIMO solutions for defense programs.

The role supports a largely remote work arrangement depending on location, with travel up to 50% and direct engagement with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years in defense sales or business development focused on USSOCOM.
• Proven track record of capturing complex, long-cycle DoD programs.
• Experience building relationships within USSOCOM and with prime contractors.
• Experience leading all phases of capture (whitepapers, proposals, RFI/RFP).
• Understanding of DoD funding cycles.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the capture process for large-scale SOCOM programs.
• Cultivate relationships with Program Offices, primes, OEMs, and end-users.
• Shape requirements with customers to position MN-MIMO solutions.
• Manage full lifecycle of long-cycle pursuits from horizon scanning to award.
• Collaborate with Market Development Executive to align strategy.
• Stay updated on market trends and funding priorities.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
• Perform other related duties.
