Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Director of Assessment Operations to lead the strategic design and delivery of large-scale assessment programmes. This remote role requires coordination with product, engineering, psychometrics, and test development teams to modernise content production and delivery while ensuring reliability and exam integrity.

The role emphasises scalable workflows, governance, and continuous improvement across jurisdictions, with remote work eligibility limited to certain US states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8–10 years leading complex operations, production systems, or large-scale services.
• Experience in people leadership and cross-functional management.
• Ability to build scalable operating processes and measure performance.
• Experience in educational assessment or high-stakes, quality-sensitive environments is strongly preferred.
• Collaborates with psychometrics, content development, engineering, product, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of assessment operating model and day-to-day delivery.
• Design scalable content production workflows, capacity planning, scheduling, and controls.
• Modernise content pipelines with automation and responsible AI-assisted processes.
• Oversee grading operations, grader capacity, recruitment logistics, and training.
• Ensure scoring consistency through standardised grading operations and calibration.
• Develop scalable exam delivery models and delivery environments across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with external exam providers on readiness, service delivery, and improvements.
• Define governance, service levels, escalation paths, and vendor accountability.
• Lead cross-functional prioritisation and execution across teams.
