Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Manager, Test Development based in the United States to lead the design and execution of large-scale standardized assessments from kindergarten through high school. You will drive content development initiatives and innovative testing methodologies while coordinating with education specialists, clients, and senior leaders.

You will oversee test development teams, manage project risks, and ensure deliverables meet timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• At least eight years of experience leading content development for large-scale summative assessments.
• At least three years of management experience (people/project).
• Strong understanding of the U.S. education system and standardized testing practices.
• Experience with assessment research, design, validation, and implementation; familiarity with innovative assessment products.
• Willingness to travel 1–8 times per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of large-scale standardized assessments.
• Manage test developers and item writers; guide responsibilities and timelines.
• Collaborate with clients and senior stakeholders; present findings and recommendations.
• Identify risks, monitor budgets and schedules; ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
• Support standard-setting activities and content advisory sessions; ensure alignment with standards.
