Job summary

Fishwife seeks a Director of Supply Planning and Inventory to lead our inventory strategy and monthly S&OP process. This fully remote role reports to the Head of Supply Chain and manages a small team including a Supply Planner and an Inventory Analyst.

You will align demand with supply, set policy, and drive data-driven decisions to keep stock, protect cash, and grow margin across channels.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in supply planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics.
• 3+ years leading planners or analysts with people-development experience.
• Proven ownership of S&OP or IBP process and stakeholder facilitation.
• Experience setting inventory policy across multiple channels (retail, club, Amazon, DTC).
• Experience managing supply through co-manufacturers, including imported goods with long lead times.
• Strong command of planning math and ERP data; ability to challenge a plan and trace root causes.
• Experience owning ERP data integrity, system integrations, and reporting platforms.
• Clear, persuasive communication with executives and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly S&OP process end-to-end and coordinate with executive leadership.
• Reconcile demand and supply plans to resolve gaps across inventory, capacity, and cash.
• Set coverage and safety stock policy for the supply plan and approve major buys with canneries.
• Partner with Sales on pipe fills, promotions, launches, and new customer opportunities.
• Escalate structural risks with recommended solutions to other departments.
