Job summary

Comfrt is seeking a Director of Planning to lead financial planning and inventory strategy across our direct-to-consumer channels, including ecommerce platforms and mobile app. You will shape forecasting, budgeting, and demand planning to maximize profitability and growth.

You will build a high-performing team, implement advanced analytics and AI-driven tools, and partner with Merchandising, Production, Marketing, and Finance to align strategy with company goals.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in merchandise planning, buying, inventory management, or ecommerce planning.
• 8+ years in a leadership or senior IC capacity.
• Proven ownership of OTB budgets, seasonal buy strategy, and inventory planning across DTC and wholesale.
• Deep expertise in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and sell-through analysis.
• Understanding of ecommerce, omnichannel, and DTC business models.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial and operational planning across all DTC channels and revenue streams.
• Oversee seasonal buy planning from strategy to execution and post-season analysis.
• Develop multi-year strategic plans aligned with growth, profitability and inventory efficiency.
• Manage OTB budgets and inventory investment strategy across channels.
• Build rolling 18–24 month demand forecasts by channel, category and customer segment.
• Oversee weekly replenishment with SKU-level projections and allocation across channels.
• Analyze margin, sell-through, and inventory to identify reorders and promotions.
• Lead performance reporting and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Drive the development of seasonal buy sheets and cross-functional alignment.
