Job summary

TransImpact, LLC is seeking a Director of Sales – Supply Chain Planning. This role leads a remote sales team, drives new client acquisition, and guides partnerships to closure.

You will present and negotiate with C-level stakeholders, build pipelines, and ensure CRM discipline while traveling for key client interactions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in remote sales leadership, strong communication skills, and experience in B2B logistics or parcel sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in sales management, especially with a remote workforce.
• Proven experience in C-Level B2B sales and account management, with parcel industry experience valued.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including phone etiquette and presentation abilities.
• Ability to understand, analyze, and interpret business contracts.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and trade shows as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Sales team to identify and develop new clients and partnerships.
• Train and ensure the Sales team communicates TransImpact’s value proposition effectively.
• Oversee and prioritize sales activities to meet annual KPIs and CRM compliance.
• Plan and oversee client portfolios aligned with company directives.
• Respond to sales inquiries and follow up using approved methods.
• Utilize and maintain sales tools (CRM, MS Office, HubSpot, ZoomInfo) with data accuracy.
• Develop and implement processes to boost team effectiveness.
• Foster profitable relationships through internal and external communication and negotiation.
