Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking a Director of Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering & Operations to lead our modern workplace and core infrastructure. You will oversee architecture, engineering, and operations of Microsoft 365, identity management, endpoints, cloud/hybrid infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, backup, and monitoring.

The role is hands-on as a player-coach, guiding a small team and managed service partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS/Microsoft), modern workplace tech, and operations.
• 7+ years leading technical teams and enterprise platform capabilities.
• Experience in regulated industries (biotech/pharma/healthcare) or GxP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute roadmaps, standards, and lifecycle plans for modern workplace technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Design, configure, automate, implement, and troubleshoot complex infrastructure; lead high-risk decisions and escalations.
• Modernize platforms to improve reliability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency; ensure disaster recovery and continuity.
• Establish engineering standards in partnership with Cyber Security, Risk, and Quality.
• Lead and develop infrastructure engineers, oversee service desk, MSPs, and vendors with clear SLAs and accountability.
• Collaborate with application, data, AI, security, and business teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable platforms.
• Manage budgets, licensing, cloud consumption, contracts, vendor relationships, capacity, and investment priorities; communicate roadmaps and risks to stakeholders.
