Job summary

Travere Therapeutics in San Diego seeks a Director of Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering & Operations to lead modern workplace and core infrastructure. You will architect, engineer, modernize, and operate Microsoft 365, identity, endpoints, cloud and hybrid infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, and recovery.

This player-coach role combines hands-on technical leadership (~60%) with team mentorship while partnering across security, quality, and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT-related field.
• 15+ years in enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• 7+ years leading technical teams and platform capabilities.
• Biotech/pharma/regulatory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define roadmaps and standards for modern workplace and cloud infra.
• Design, automate, implement and troubleshoot complex infrastructure.
• Modernize platforms for reliability, security and cost efficiency.
• Establish standards in partnership with Cyber Security, Risk, and Quality.
• Lead engineers, manage vendors, and ensure service levels.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into platforms.
• Manage budgets, licensing, contracts, and vendor relationships.
