Job summary

Partner Company seeks an Embodied Carbon Service Group Director based in the United States to lead measurement and decarbonization across built environments. You will shape service delivery, guide multidisciplinary teams, and translate sustainability commitments into measurable impact.

You will collaborate with internal leaders and clients to optimize workflows, expand offerings, and strengthen relationships. A distributed working setup enables climate action leadership and industry influence.

Qualifications

• 6-12 years in sustainability with 4-8 years in embodied carbon measurement.
• Knowledge of LEED, LCA, and decarbonization in real estate.
• Leadership experience with direct staff mentorship and performance development.
• Strong consulting background with cross-functional delivery for large clients.
• Experience leading innovation, workflows, and change management.
• LEED/ILFI certification project involvement desirable.
• Excellent presentation skills for executive audiences.
• Collaborative leadership with client relationship ability.

Responsibilities

• Refine and execute strategic vision for the embodied carbon service group.
• Mentor teams, manage workload, and oversee project pipelines.
• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews.
• Improve workflows, standardize processes, and drive innovation.
• Support business development with client conversations and scoping.
• Develop pricing, go-to-market, and revenue projections with stakeholders.
• Act as subject matter expert on embodied carbon accounting and trends.
