Job summary

Cadence OneFive Inc. is hiring for a remote Senior Operations Lead to manage end-to-end project intake, ownership, and handoffs for decarbonization retrofit projects across multifamily buildings.

You will collaborate with the Chief Revenue Officer to define processes, own project stages, and drive fast, reliable outcomes. You will hire and lead a small team of building-science specialists, assign workload, and formalize procedures so knowledge is codified.

Qualifications

• Proven record of building operating processes from scratch across ops or sales.
• Experience leading a technical team, e.g., sales engineers or project coordinators.
• Engineering or technical degree; ability to discuss with engineers.
• Strong judgment and reliability with external partners.
• Experience sustaining operations during rapid growth.
• Excellent, precise writing.
• Familiarity with government energy programs and Local Law 97 is a plus.
• Startup experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and optimize how buildings enter the process and what happens next.
• Maintain contact with partner organizations to ensure smooth progression.
• Map responsibilities and next steps for all projects.
• Document processes so knowledge is captured.
• Build and lead a small team of building-science specialists as funding arrives.
• Assign projects to team members and ensure clean handoffs.
• Lead without direct reporting lines, managing own work.
