Job summary

RyeStrategy LLC is seeking a Carbon Consultant to serve as the day-to-day partner for a portfolio of clients, guiding them through carbon accounting, reductions, and reporting frameworks. You will own client engagements from start to finish, with direct reporting to the Sustainability and Client Services leadership.

Most days involve back-to-back client calls, data requests, and problem-solving to ensure clients feel supported and energized by our white-glove service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a client-facing role as a primary contact.
• Track record of going above and beyond for clients.
• Passion for sustainability demonstrated via coursework, certifications, volunteering, or past roles.
• Comfort with a seasonal workload during peak reporting periods.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Foundational understanding of sustainability concepts with willingness to deepen carbon knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Be the day-to-day partner for a portfolio of clients, guiding them through carbon accounting, emissions reduction, and reporting frameworks.
• Lead client calls, walk data requests, answer questions, and provide hands-on support at every stage.
• Manage multiple client engagements with accuracy, timeliness, and professional communication.
