Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks a Director of Disaster Finance Response to lead the financial infrastructure for domestic relief operations. You will oversee budgeting, reporting, and controls, and manage a team, including a Financial Response Manager, Reporting Manager, and a Controls Manager, while coordinating with other finance leaders.

Remote work is allowed across the US; travel may be required for disaster deployments and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• CPA and MBA may be preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience; 5 years in management.

Responsibilities

• Review financial data analysis related to operations and performance.
• Direct financial analysis projects, forecasting and studies.
• Ensure reports comply with regulations and policies.
• Direct preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements.
• Support disaster purchasing tools while maintaining controls.
• Lead team in applying new technologies for efficiency.
