Job summary

Assets Under Movement is seeking a seasoned Fund Director to scale disaster fundraising and grantmaking. You will build partnerships, lead rapid-response cycles, and translate vision into measurable goals while coordinating with Organizing Resilience and other programs.

Remote, senior leadership role with multi-million dollar budget oversight, travel as needed, and a benefits package including health, retirement match and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in large-scale non-profit/philanthropy or policy campaigns.
• Experience building, launching and scaling startups, organizations, or major initiatives.
• Experience leading a remote, high-performing multi-location team and managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Proven ability to secure and sustain donor engagement across diverse sources.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising strategy across major donors, institutional giving, grassroots and digital channels.
• Oversee grantmaking framework, funding criteria, timelines and reporting.
• Manage operations and budget with cross-functional leadership for rapid disaster response and ongoing operations.
• Represent the organization with donors, partners, movement leaders and media as needed.
• Build scalable programs, testing cycles, and lean-startup processes to drive impact.
