Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations. You will partner with leadership to standardize workflows, drive efficiency, and support growth across the brokerage.

The role emphasizes transformation, M&A integration, and delivering exceptional client service while maximizing shareholder value. The ideal candidate will bring 5–7+ years of senior Commercial Lines leadership, an active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designation.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with root cause analysis and sustainable improvements.
• Workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

• Operational Excellence: Identify challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Workflow Standardization: Promote standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Root Cause Analysis: Evaluate issues, identify causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Workforce Planning: Analyze staffing to develop capacity plans for growth.
• Managed Services Alignment: Ensure efficient resource utilization and alignment with goals.
• Technical Expertise: Serve as national Commercial P&C SME on operations, workflows, and systems.
• M&A Integration Support: Assist with integration planning and workflow alignment.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build partnerships to drive engagement and implementation.
• Systems & Technology Optimization: Promote EPIC and related tools to improve performance.
• Performance Analysis: Use metrics and BI to identify improvement opportunities.
• Change Leadership: Lead adoption of new processes and practices.
