Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations and drive workflow standardization, process improvement, and strategic initiatives. The role partners with regional leadership to enhance client service and shareholder value, including M&A integration and scalable operations.

The ideal candidate will hold an active P&C license, CPCU/CIC designation, and 5–7+ years of leadership in a large brokerage.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Demonstrated experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
• Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with Divisional and Regional Leaders.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and service quality.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity to support growth.
• Align Managed Services resources with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems (EPIC).
• Support merger and acquisition initiatives through integration planning.
