Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director of Commercial Lines to lead national P&C operations, standardize workflows, and partner with executives to drive efficiency and growth. The role emphasizes operational leadership in a large brokerage, with a focus on strategic initiatives and integration efforts.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, CPCU/CIC designation, and 5–7+ years of leadership experience in Commercial Lines within a major brokerage.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable, efficient solutions.
• Promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity planning to support growth.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and alignment.
