Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations and drive workflow standardization. This remote role partners with executive teams to scale capacity, optimize service delivery, and support M&A integration while maintaining compliance and exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license with CPCU or CIC designation, 5–7+ years of leadership experience in a large brokerage, and a track record of driving

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a highly matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Divisional and Regional Leadership to develop and execute initiatives that strengthen Commercial Lines operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions improving efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and consistency.
• Analyze staffing, workload, and service demands to develop capacity plans.
• Support merger and acquisition initiatives through operational assessments and integration planning.
