Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead nationwide operations, drive standardization, and optimize client service. The role partners with leadership to scale workflows, manage strategic initiatives, and support M&A integration.

The ideal candidate has P&C licensure, CPCU/CIC preferred, and 5–7+ years in a large brokerage environment. This remote-capable role emphasizes collaboration, change leadership, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years in Commercial Lines operational leadership at a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Change leadership and ability to influence leaders in a matrixed org.
• Analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives to strengthen operations, service delivery, and performance.
• Standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead capacity planning and workforce modeling to support growth.
• Support mergers and acquisitions through integration planning and workflow alignment.
• Collaborate with producers, operations teams, and leadership to drive engagement and results.
• Promote effective use of EPIC and other technology platforms to improve performance.
• Analyze operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
