Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations, drive standardization, and optimize workflows. You will partner with divisional leadership to advance objectives, support producers and account teams, and guide transformation initiatives across the Commercial P&C practice.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7+ years in operational leadership within a large brokerage, active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designations.

Qualifications

Active Property & Casualty License required.
CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
Demonstrated experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Operational Excellence: Identify challenges and implement scalable solutions for efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
Workflow Standardization: Promote standardized workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
Root Cause Analysis: Evaluate issues and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
Workforce Planning: Analyze staffing and workload to support growth and excellence.
Managed Services Alignment: Align resources with organizational goals.
Technical Expertise: Serve as a national Commercial P&C SME on operations, workflows, systems, and industry best practices.
M&A Integration Support: Support integration planning and process standardization.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build partnerships to drive engagement and implementation.
Systems & Technology Optimization: Promote EPIC and related tools for performance.
Performance Analysis: Use metrics and BI to drive improvements.
Change Leadership: Lead adoption of new processes across the organization.
Professional Development: Maintain leadership and industry expertise.
