Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations in a primarily remote capacity. The role partners with divisional and regional leadership to drive best practices, standardize workflows, and scale operations while maximizing client service and shareholder value.

The ideal candidate brings 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines leadership in a large brokerage, active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designations.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leaders.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices for Commercial Lines.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Plan workforce capacity to support growth and operations.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and technology usage.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and alignment.
