Milliman’s CMH Health practice seeks a Director of Products & Engineering to build a new Pharmacy Platform from 0 to 1 and scale it. You will own the outcome, collaborate with pharmacists and actuaries, and lead a team of AI product engineers to deliver client-focused solutions.

You will set the strategy, guide architecture decisions, and drive commercial results, including pricing, pilots, renewals, and expansion, while upholding data privacy and AI governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in product leadership, healthcare technology, pharmacy benefits, or healthcare consulting, including taking at least one product or platform from concept to paying customers.
• Pharmacy or pharmacy-benefit domain fluency, including reimbursement, rebates, formulary, and regulatory landscape.
• Platform and systems thinking with data models, integrations, and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Hands-on AI fluency with generative AI and LLM tooling in product delivery.
• Commercial ownership with product P&L, budget, or revenue responsibilities.
• Executive communication across C-suite and technical teams.

• Lead multi-year roadmaps and architecture trade-offs with engineering.
• Incorporate AI from the start: agents, retrieval, analytics, and checks.
• Ship MVP quickly and iterate using real usage data.
• Build and scale a cross-functional team of AI engineers and TPMs.
• Drive platform adoption, pricing, pilots, renewals, and expansion.
• Maintain quality, risk, HIPAA, and governance standards.
