Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation family, is hiring a Direct Sales Agent Specialist in the United States. You will drive growth by generating new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships through local and phone-based outreach.

You’ll maintain a strong book of business, work with dealerships and community partners, and stay current on products and underwriting guidelines. Expect a base hourly rate of $20.00 plus uncapped incentives.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience; P&C licensing (preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.
