National General Holdings Corp. is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by acquiring new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building a lasting book of business.

The role combines in-person and phone-based sales, with emphasis on local market activity. You will cultivate community relationships, prospect outbound leads, partner with leadership on sales and local marketing, and stay informed of products, underwriting guidelines, and competition to deliver results

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing preferred or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
