National General is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist who will drive profitable growth by generating new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships. This role sells to local customers both in person and over the phone, while growing through community involvement and referrals.

Base compensation starts at $20.00 per hour with uncapped monthly incentives. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of experience and P&C licensing or the ability to obtain licensure

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company

Responsabilités

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
