Job summary

National General Holdings Corp. is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive profitable growth by generating new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships in the local market.

This role sells to local customers in person and over the phone, develops relationships with dealerships and partners, and conducts outbound prospecting to convert opportunities into sales. Base compensation is $20.00 per hour with total compensation that may include commissions

Qualifications

• 0– 2years of experience.
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or mustattainrequired licensure within90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
