National General is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by generating new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships. You will sell to local customers in person and over the phone, while expanding the business through community involvement and outside marketing efforts.

Responsibilities include achieving sales goals, developing a local pipeline, and fostering relationships with dealerships and events.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
