National General Holdings Corp. seeks a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive profitable growth through new business, cross-selling, and strong relationship building.

You will work with local customers in person and over the phone, generating leads, maintaining a pipeline, and delivering tailored insurance solutions. You’ll join a performance‑oriented team with multi‑tiered training, a base hourly rate, and the potential for commissions and bonuses based on individual and team results.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience. P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
