Job summary

National General, part of the Allstate family, seeks a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to grow a local book of business through in-person and phone-based engagement. You’ll generate new leads, cross-sell to existing customers, and build community partnerships to drive sustainable sales.

You will stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition, delivering results that meet compliance and customer experience standards. Base pay is $20/hour with incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• 0– 2years of experience
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
