Job summary

Talently is seeking a remote Field Service Technician to support digital printing equipment across customer sites. You will install, inspect, maintain, and repair presses; diagnose mechanical, electrical, servo and hydraulic faults; and guide customers through troubleshooting steps while documenting work.

Qualifications

• Practical experience servicing or maintaining digital printing equipment or printing presses.
• Field service experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Working knowledge of servo systems and motion-control components.
• Ability to diagnose and work with hydraulic systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and systematic troubleshooting skills.
• Clear customer communication and accurate service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair digital printing presses and associated equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, servo, and hydraulic faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Provide field service support at customer sites, including troubleshooting and equipment adjustments.
• Respond to service requests remotely and guide customers through basic diagnostic steps.
• Test equipment after repairs to confirm safe operation, print quality, and performance.
• Document service visits, work completed, parts used, and follow-up recommendations.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams about equipment issues and service needs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain organized service tools and parts.
