Job summary

American Heart Association is seeking a Digital Fundraising Strategy Lead to drive strategy, creation and optimization of digital communications for peer-to-peer fundraising. This remote and flexible role partners with internal teams and vendors to deliver impactful campaigns and ED solutions.

You will lead multi-channel campaigns, analyze performance, and optimize donor engagement while supporting fundraising objectives and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3 years minimum of prior related experience; 5–7 years preferred.
• Experience within nonprofit and fundraising environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Ability to build productive relationships with staff, vendors, volunteers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of compelling digital content across email, SMS, paid media and social channels to recruit, engage and retain participants and donors.
• Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert for digital campaign performance and optimize engagement and fundraising outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors and field teams to align digital communications with fundraising objectives.
• Plan, develop and deploy multi-channel digital campaigns for peer-to-peer programs and events.
• Manage content production including email copy/design, digital ads, video/audio, SMS, and social content.
• Coordinate campaign development from concept through deployment with copy approval, testing and QA.
