Job summary

American Heart Association is seeking a Digital Fundraising Strategy Lead to own strategy, creation, and optimization of digital fundraising communications. This role is remote and flexible, supporting peer-to-peer programs and analytics-driven improvements.

You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to execute innovative engagement strategies, manage campaigns, and drive donor acquisition, engagement, and retention with a focus on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Three (3) years minimum of prior related experience; 5–7 years preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising environments.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic digital marketing plans.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proven ability to build productive relationships with staff, vendors and partners.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with multiple priorities.
• Ability to adapt strategies based on performance data and needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of multi-channel digital campaigns for peer-to-peer fundraising programs.
• Oversee creation of digital content: emails, ads, video, SMS, social content.
• Coordinate campaign development from concept to deployment with teams and vendors.
• Manage paid media strategy and campaign performance with agency partners.
• Analyze engagement, conversion, and fundraising metrics and report outcomes.
• Provide performance insights to stakeholders and guide strategic improvements.
• Utilize Analytics tools to measure success and inform decisions.
