Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Digital Fundraising Strategy Lead for a remote, flexible position. You will shape multi-channel digital campaigns to recruit, engage, coach, steward, and retain participants and donors, with a focus on data-driven optimization.

Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and field staff to align digital communications with fundraising objectives. Strong analytical skills and nonprofit fundraising experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3 years minimum related experience; 5–7 years preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit and fundraising environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Ability to build productive relationships with staff, vendors, volunteers, and external partners.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and deployment of multi-channel digital campaigns supporting peer-to-peer fundraising programs and events.
• Develop and produce digital content across email, SMS, paid media, social, video, and audio.
• Coordinate campaign development from concept through deployment, including copy approval, design, testing, QA, launch.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to execute digital engagement strategies.
• Manage paid media strategy and campaign performance with agencies/vendors.
• Analyze engagement, conversion, fundraising, and retention metrics; synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
