Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of Registered Dietitians to provide compassionate virtual care for perimenopause and menopause transitions. You will deliver a cohesive, holistic care model within a multi-specialty team and manage a flexible schedule.

This 1099 independent contractor role emphasizes autonomy, evidence-based practice in women’s health, and a patient-centered care approach. Pomelo handles scheduling, credentialing, and billing, with AI tools to streamline charting.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD/Nutritionist (RDN) by the CDR with a license to practice in any US state.
• Candidates licensed in multiple states are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan and better outcomes.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits on the Pomelo platform.
