Job summary

Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice for women and children, offering comprehensive care across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. We expand our network of Registered Dietitians to provide expert virtual nutrition care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

As a 1099 independent contractor, you will set your own schedule, conduct video visits, document outcomes, and work with a dedicated medical provider and therapist to deliver cohesive care.

Qualifications

• Must be nationally certified as RD or RDN by the CDR with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of evidence-based nutrition counseling experience.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team to ensure cohesive care plans.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to facilitate lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focused on metabolic health, body composition, and bone health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits.
