Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver virtual care for midlife and menopause transitions. As an RD, you will conduct synchronous video visits, collaborate with a multi-specialty team, and guide patients through multi-week programs with evidence-based nutrition therapy.

You will control your schedule as an independent contractor, with compensation per active visit hour and onboarding bonus, while Pomelo handles scheduling, credentialing, billing, and provides AI

Qualifications

• National RD certification and license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of evidence-based nutrition counseling experience.
• Ability to commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients in midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan that drives outcomes.
• Partner with patients over multi-week programs to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits.
