Job summary

MCGARITY CONSULTING GROUP seeks qualified professionals for a contingent project in the United States. The role tests web content and applications for Section 508 conformance, documenting results for compliance reporting.

Remote work with approximate 29 hours per week (about 1,504 hours per year) is expected until project award. Prerequisites include DHS Trusted Tester Level 5 certification, knowledge of Revised Section 508 Standards, and at least one year of accessibility testing.

Qualifications

• Current DHS Trusted Tester Level 5 certification required.
• Basic knowledge of Revised Section 508 Standards.
• One year of accessibility testing experience.
• Willingness to have work reviewed; quality review is built into the program.

Responsibilities

• Perform Section 508 conformance testing of ICT using current approved assessment methods, test reporting tools, and formats.
• Test using the DHS Trusted Tester Conformance Test Process for Web, v5.0 or later.
• Document results completely and accurately in the required format for quality review and program reporting.
• Support technical assistance and remediation guidance work as testing volume allows.
