Job summary

Magnus Management Group LLC is seeking a DHS-certified Trusted Tester Level I to evaluate websites, web applications, electronic content, and other ICT for conformance with Section 508 accessibility requirements.

The role requires conducting Section 508 testing, applying the DHS Conformance Test Process, and producing complete test results. This is a remote position with ongoing DHS certification maintenance and professional development obligations.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare accurate and understandable accessibility test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Section 508 accessibility testing of websites, web applications, electronic content, and other ICT.
• Apply the DHS Trusted Tester Section 508 Conformance Test Process for Web, Version 5.0 or later.
• Use current DHS-approved accessibility assessment methods, testing tools, procedures, and reporting formats.
• Perform manual and tool-assisted accessibility testing, as applicable.
• Identify and document accessibility defects accurately and consistently.
• Prepare complete and traceable accessibility testing results.
• Maintain supporting test evidence and documentation.
• Communicate testing findings to accessibility specialists, project teams, and Government stakeholders.
• Follow applicable DHS accessibility policies, procedures, standards, and technical guidance.
• Maintain current DHS Trusted Tester certification throughout contract performance.
• Complete required skills-currency and professional-development activities.
