Job summary

Magnus Management Group LLC is seeking a DHS-certified Trusted Tester Level II to conduct accessibility testing and remediation for Section 508. The role evaluates web-based ICT using DHS methods and remediates Microsoft Office and PDF documents.

The candidate will apply official DHS testing, develop test plans, document findings, and provide technical assistance to ensure compliance. Remote position with potential onsite reporting to DHS/TSA HQ.

Qualifications

• Current DHS Trusted Tester Version 5.0 certification or later.
• Broad knowledge of the Revised Section 508 Standards.
• At least two years of accessibility testing experience.
• Experience testing and remediating electronic documents for Section 508 conformance.
• Experience remediating Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF files.
• Ability to interpret results and communicate remediation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Section 508 testing of websites, applications, and ICT.
• Apply DHS Trusted Tester processes and testing methods.
• Use approved testing tools and reporting formats.
• Evaluate and remediate Microsoft Office and PDF files.
• Develop accessibility test plans based on requirements.
• Identify and communicate accessibility defects.
• Provide remediation guidance for 508 defects.
• Maintain testing, remediation, and training records.
• Maintain DHS Trusted Tester certification throughout the contract.
