Job summary

Mark43 is hiring a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain our mission-critical public safety platform. You will focus on reliable cloud infrastructure, automated deployments, and strong observability to empower engineering teams.

Work with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana to streamline developer workflows and drive operational excellence across the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or related infrastructure role.
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infra.
• Experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terra form).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling.
• Scripting or programming to automate infra and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability and reliability.
• Build and maintain IaC using Terraform to automate provisioning.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
• Drive GitOps and automation with Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Improve platform observability with monitoring and logging.
• Build internal tools to boost developer productivity and automate tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement DevOps best practices.
• Identify bottlenecks and reliability improvements in the platform.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support production.
• Own infra projects contributing to long-term scalability and health.
