The Lupus Foundation of America is seeking a Development Manager for the Southeast Region. This remote position, based in Florida, reports to the Division Vice President, Southeast Region and leads peer-to-peer fundraising efforts, volunteer recruitment, and sponsor development to support Walk to End Lupus Now events.

Key duties include managing events, building regional partnerships, coordinating with national staff, and expanding Lupus & You education programs.

Formación

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in special events, sponsorship sales, and volunteer engagement.
• Proven track record of exceeding fundraising goals.
• Ability to recruit and lead volunteer committees.
• Strong written and verbal communication; adaptable with diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Walk to End Lupus Now events and revenue goals through peer-to-peer fundraising and partnerships.
• Recruit, support, and develop volunteer committees to reach targets.
• Maintain accurate donor and event data; assist constituents with fundraising tools.
• Cultivate relationships with regional volunteers, sponsors, and participants to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate Lupus & You education programs with regional and national teams.
• Travel up to 25–30% and perform other duties as assigned.
