Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in special event fundraising and relationship development.
• Strong volunteer recruitment and management experience.
• Broad based fundraising knowledge, experience and skill in nonprofit management.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, implement, and lead strategies and tactics for fundraising and development activities to ensure growth and regional success metrics.
• Lead planning and execution of Walk to End Lupus Now events in assigned territory.
• Lead Lupus & You Empowerment Conferences including sponsorships, venues, speakers and partnerships.
• Build relationships with volunteers, sponsors, donors, and community leaders.
• Achieve assigned revenue goals by maintaining stakeholder relationships.
• Drive revenue growth for fundraising and education events in the market.
• Establish LFA presence and develop opportunities within the territory.
• Maintain detailed database of engagement, sponsorships, grants and gifts.
