The Development Manager plays a key role in service to the mission of LFA through revenue generation, volunteer recruitment and management and program support. As a member of the Western Division team, the Development Manager is primarily responsible for successful implementation of assigned Walk to End Lupus Now events

Qualifications

• Experience planning and executing peer-to-peer fundraising events.
• Proven track record of securing sponsorships and volunteer engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Walk to End Lupus Now events, securing sponsorships and volunteer leadership.
• Coordinate Lupus & You Empowerment Conferences, venues, speakers, and post-event follow-up.
• Build relationships with volunteers, sponsors, and community leaders to maximize revenue impact.
• Develop knowledge of lupus health issues to support fundraising initiatives.
• Ensure fundraising activities align with the Foundation’s mission and branding.
• Maintain donor databases and assist constituents with fundraising tools.
• Manage Division social media presence to boost participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with National marketing for consistent messaging.
