Job summary

The ALS Association is seeking an Associate Director of Development - Houston to drive over $600,000 in annual revenue through ALS-sponsored events and statewide fundraising efforts. You will coach development managers, cultivate donors, and build strong relationships across the Southwest region, while coordinating with corporate partners and volunteers.

This remote role is based in the Houston area and may require travel up to 50% of the time, including occasional nights and weekends for events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of fundraising and event production with revenue goals.
• Experience with CRM/donor management and fundraising platforms.
• Strong communication, public speaking, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Southwest communities and corporate partners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue/fundraising within defined portfolio, including strategy, budgeting, and donor tracking.
• Support territory fundraising goals and coaching Development Managers.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with donors and volunteers to build a mid-to-major gifts pipeline.
• Grow corporate partnerships and manage stakeholder meetings and proposals.
• Utilize moves management to advance donor relationships and planned giving when appropriate.
